VIRTUAL EVENT - MARCH 28

The producers of TEDxSanMiguelDeAllende are pivoting the public event originally scheduled for March 21, and creating a virtual event scheduled for March 28. The virtual event will feature the scheduled TEDx speakers, and tickets will be sold at a flat price of $300 pesos. With your digital ticket purchase you will receive a link and a unique password. You will be able to view the event live or delayed, or download the content.
There will be a dozen compelling speakers from Mexico and the United States, with live English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translations. The short talks ranging from 10 to 18 minutes will address topics including ecology, social justice, gender issues, regenerative agriculture, water rights, and tech innovations.

Theme: Re:Generación

In a world that has passed the tipping points into destructive social, individual and environmental change, sustainability is no longer enough. We have no choice but to regenerate — our world, our communities and ourselves.

In this the 10th year of TEDxSanMigueldeAllende, we look to a new decade with a new vision and a new call to action: Re:Generación.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxSanMiguelDeAllende, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxSanMiguelDeAllende event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
