Alex is passionate about knowing the story behind the products we buy, especially with food. Having worn several hats and working furiously with Producers Trust to bring transparency to the global agricultural system, he believes that storytelling and traceability with verified data can drive more conscious purchasing decisions for positive planetary impact.

His experience working with the full spectrum of agricultural stakeholders around the world has afforded him a unique perspective to continually learn and identify opportunities for technology to support the much needed global transition to regenerative farming and business practices to which food brands, farmers, governments and consumers are already aligning.

Alex recently led the launch of the world’s first true traceability app allowing consumers to see the journey of products, StoryBird. He grew up in Silicon Valley, CA, graduated from UC Davis and has spent time in San Francisco, New York City, France, and Mexico
